1. That last post reminded me that I’m sort of tentatively looking at re-doing the story for those mutant characters (3, 4, 9 etc) because, even though their old plot worked (test-tube babies, get experimental drugs tested on them, it goes very wrong and now the evil corporation must keep it under wraps, ergo holding children they created hostage in a huge facility), something didn’t line up. The story seems to call for much younger characters, like really young little children, who are to naive to question their surroundings (until much later), but that reminds me too much of Akira.. and many other stories in that genre.

    The other way is to totally scrap the story (keep their origins the same maybe?) and leave them as older characters who have a lot more freedom. This opens up the opportunity to interact with the vague environment they live in: Earth is one huge shitty slum, after wars or nuclear mishaps, and everyone is a criminal and/or very poor. But surprise higher ups in the government-corporations, are doing pretty well for themselves.

    So, I guess… look forward to posts about that? (who looks forward to anything I post here is a good question though)
